I like building things that solve real problems. I usually start with an idea, figure things out as I go, and learn something along the way. Whether it’s for the web, desktop, or mobile, I like exploring whatever makes the most sense for what I’m trying to build.

Currently — I’m a fourth-year student at Cebu Institute of Technology – University in Cebu City. I’m looking for an internship where I can learn, contribute, and gain experience, while also being open to freelance work.

Overview

Marathon photographers cull thousands of shots by hand after every race, and runners have no local place to find and buy theirs. QuickPitik covers both ends: photographers tether their camera to a phone for near real-time upload, and runners find every photo they appear in by selfie or bib number, then buy it in the marketplace.

  • Camera tethering straight to the cloud, Android first
  • Face search: one selfie finds every photo of you at an event
  • Bib-number search by OCR, for runners who would rather not upload a selfie
  • Marketplace checkout through PayMongo, with watermarked previews until purchase
  • Face data scoped to a single event, so runner data never crosses races
